The Peregrine Falcons that live on the cliffs above Chico Creek
Canyon are the icons and spirit of the Upper
Park. Watching them for hours with my binoculars
and camera inspired this image for my Palio Flag. They are the fastest creatures on earth. Not
even hawks and eagles will fly near them.
Peregrines symbolize speed, aerobatic agility and fearlessness.
