My
flag represents the Esplanade. Inside the shield is the map of the Avenues
neighborhood with the Esplanade running through it. Above the shield is a small
segment of streetscape; some houses and trees along this magnificent
boulevard. The Gingko leaves running along the base of the flag and the Oak
leaf near the shield are painted in the colors that light the Esplanade on fire
during the Autumn months. All the colors on the flag lean toward our beautiful
Fall color here in Chico.
